But the problem with this is that family resemblance can come about in another way. Genetics: similarity in genetics leads to similarity in personality. Environment: shared environmental experiences: when children are raised in the same environment. For e. g. the same parents or that in the same community: non-shared environment experiences: these are things that the individuals experience uniquely and no one else would experience this in the same way. This differentiates people because of the different experiences they have. Phenotype: is the collection or set of observable characteristics that we have.
