Week 1 Agenda N2L03

2. Review learning sequence / clinical materials for complex care e.g. relevant policies and
procedures / map of location / confidentiality documents (have students sign confidentiality doc)
3. Initial assessment / level 1 review
a. Briefly review level 1 skills and related to how they will be used in level 2 (head to toe
assessment) focus on prioritization etc.

Correct demonstration and documentation of staple removal, suture removal, drain removal, dressing change (dry and wet to dry) and packings using sterile techniques. The psychosocial impact a wound may have on a patient: body image changes and causes stress and changes influence on self-concept sexuality presence.
