Garbology: study of modern refuse and trash, as well as the use of trash cans, compactors, trash can liners etc. Middens: old dump for domestic waste, any kind of feature containing waste products relating to day-to-day human life, quite often the only remnant of ancient populations that can be found. 4 fields of anthropology: biological, cultural, linguistic, archaeology. Pollen zones: a system of subdividing the last glacial period and holocene, frozen to warm, by using data from pollen cores, sequences of pollen through layers.
