This model seems to predict behaviour best in people that place a high value on their health explains and predicts health behaviours using the attitudes and beliefs toward disease, especially perceived barriers, perceived benefits, and perceived susceptibility. Limitations not tested as a whole, environmental or economic factors are not included, does not incorporate the influence of social norms and peer influences. This is very similar to the health belief model except it also involves attitudes toward a behaviour. This also includes the outcome of that behaviour and what others think. This theory tends to predict behaviour better when social norms (subjective norms) are included.
