Natural ability-innate language capacity, creative language, different than learning other skills. Nativist approach- innate lad/ug predispose us to systematically perceive language. Kids make hypotheses based on input and test them. Ug principles state that with input kid will learn their language parameters of different principles and achieve same final state in language.
