Primary motor cortex (where the messages that go to the motor neurons come from). Somato body mapping = parts of the brain are responsible for parts of the body. Left controls the right side of the body and vice versa. Top parts of the cortex are responsible for lower body parts. More neurons for body parts that are more sensitive or have more motor control. Face is very sensitive and has many muscles for facial movement (large space in both) Able to make decisions without the brain; reflex archs.
