(i)Java-: Java is a high level and object oriented programming language that produces software for
multiple platforms. It is widely used to develop desktop applications, web applications, enterprise
applications, games, robotics, etc.
(ii)NetBeans IDE 8.1: It is an integrated software development environment in which we can develop
different types of software in a single window. It provides many operational windows like Menu bar, Tool
bar, Source code window, Design window, Properties window, project window ,navigator window, output
window, etc..
(iii)Javac:-It is a compiler that converts source code to byte code.
(iv)JVM-: JVM is a runtime environment which acts as an interpreter and translates the byte code into
object code (Machine language).
(v)Source code:-The core program or text written in any computer language like C, C++, and Java etc is
called Source code.
