There are numerous motivational philosophies. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, McGregor's Theories X and Y, and Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory are three significant theories. Write an essay in which your describe and evaluate the Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory

• Pick a hypothesis first, then outline the assertions it makes. What does it indicate about the reasons behind people's actions?

• Then, discuss if you believe the theory you have chosen is successful in foretelling individual behavior. Do people really act in the manner that the theory predicts?

Assume that you have just been promoted to a new position where you have leadership responsibility. You have never had formal leadership responsibilities before, and you wish to maximize the possibility that you will be successful with this new responsibility.
