Do you think it's as true (or false) today as it was when the colonists and founders worked its ideas into the Constitution?  Back up your opinion with examples. Next, come back a couple days later to comment on one of your peers' post. Do you agree or disagree with their statements? Why?

Read the quote below from James Madison. Explain what you believe he is saying. Then explain what actions you might do, or have already done to make it apply to your own life. This post should be at least one paragraph. Next, come back in a couple of days and make a comment on a post written by one of your classmates. Comment whether you believe your peer's actions would, in fact, satisfy Madison's statement. Make sure you state why, or why not you agree or disagree with your peer.
