What is the answer to B then ?? please
Elemental Bromine can be produced from electrolysis of a potassium bromide solution, k Br (aq). Electrolysis can be done with one beaker, with a solution of potassium bromide in it. Two carbon electrodes are used in the solution which is connected by wires. to a 112 v power.
a) label the cell below for the electrolysis of potassium bromide
b) Write the equation for the half reaction that occurs at the cathode. Describe qualitatively what you would observe in the region around the cathode.
