<p>My teacher told us if we did the extra credit problem right then we'd get 10 extra credit points on our test!!! :D It's an even problem in my book so I can't check my answer or tell if I did it right :/ So how would you work out the problem???<br /><br /> "The highest bridge in the world is the bridge over the Royal Gorge of the Arkansas River in Colorado. Sightings to the same point at water level directly under the bridge are taken from each side of the 880-foot-long bridge, as indicated in the figure. How high is the bridge?"<br /> There is a picture in the book of the gorge and the bridge which they show as an upside down triangle. They have the "h" for height down the center which splits the triangle into two different ones (side-by-side). The two upper outside angles are 69.2 degrees and 65.5 degrees. The bridge is 880 feet long (the top of the whole triangle).</p>
