In the cathode-ray tube a beam of electrons is injectedhorizontally into the exact parallel plate region.Each plate haslength,L =1.5cm separation, d= 0.2cm and each plate carries auniform charge density of magnitude Ï=2.5x10-7C/m2. What minimum initial speed v must the electronshave to ensure that they do not strike the upper plate
b) Knowing that the electron travels in a straight line afterexiting the electric field region and if th screen is D=12cm fromthe end of the plates, what will be the total deflection of theelectrons when they hit the screen?
I have done the first part with ease but with (b). I dont knowhow to calculate the total deflection of the electrons when theyhit the screen
