An electric motor self heats 15degree C above ambienttemperature when operating steadily. If the ambient temperature is70 degrees F, what is the perating temperature of the motor inFahrenheit? I have worked this out. First I changed 15 degree C to F = 59degree F Then added 59Degree F + 70 degree F = 129 degree F ( the operating temperature) The book gives the answer as 97 degree F What?! I'm sure this is an easy problem but I don't know whereI went wrong! Please help
