Hello, I answered this question but would love to see if I havegone about it the right way.

A cylinder contains 0.2 mol of helium at 30C.

a) How much heat is needed to raise the temperature to 70C whilekeeping the volume constant? Draw a pV diagram for thisprocess.

(b) If instead the pressure of the helium is kept constant, howmuch heat is
needed to raise the temperature from 30C to 70C? Draw a pV diagramfor this process.

(c) What accounts for the dierence between your answers for (a) and(b)? In which case is more heat required? What becomes of theadditional heat?

(d) If the gas is ideal, what is the change in its internal energyin part (a)? In part (b)? How do the two answers compare? Why?
