I have three air carts on frictionless track that have masses fromleft to right of 4m, 2m, and m, respectively. The most massive carthas an initial speed of Vo. the other two carts are at restinitially. all carts have spring bumpers that give elasticcollisions. Find the final speed of each cart.
My question is, it doesn't seem like I have enough info to answerthis question. I am having a hard time computing what the finalspeed is for each cart when I don't know what the Vo is for the 4mcart that moves to hit the other two carts. I think I am making itmore difficult then it needs to be and realize there is somethingto the fact that each cart is twice the mass of the one previousand how this affects the collision of the objects. Any help wouldbe GREAT!!!
