The loaded car of a roller coaster has a mass M = 320. It goesover a hill with v or 21.4 m/s. The radius of curvature R of thehill is 15.3 m.
1. What is the force N that the track must excer on the car?(postitive is up)
2. What must be the force that the car exerts on a 61 kgpassenger
I worked on this and came up with (((21.4^2 / 15.6) + 9.8)*320))/2
I thought that was giving me the right answer, and it was close, but not correct. The answers should be around -6440 and -1230.
Thanks for any help.
