apogee is 4000 km
perigee is 250 km
ratio velocity(P)/velocity(A)=1.57
I know to use Ka+Ua=Kp+Up
k=(1/2)mv^2
U=(G)(M(earth))(m)/r
Mp=Ma
V(p)-V(a)=2(G)(M(earth))(1/Rp-1/Ra)
solve for v(a) in terms of v(p) using above ratio and solve.
I continue to get.
Vp=7.09x10^4
Va=4.52x10^4
Any suggestions?????
