Basically I need help with understanding the variables of astatistical parabolic fit of data from a physics experiment. Pleaseanswer the 3 questions below.

The data was taken from tracking the position and angular velocityof a mass connected by a rod to an axis of which it revolvesaround. A weight is wound around the axis and falls as the mass andaxis rotate counterclockwise; the weight is actually increasing therate of revolution as it drops.

Looking at a graph of the rotation angle(theta) vs t. The best lineof fit for the data is not a straight line fit, but aparabola.

See attached

11. What angular variable does the parameter a of the parabolic fitcorrespond to? What is its relationship to the parameter a of thestraight line fit?

12. What angular variable does the parameter b of the parabolic fitcorrespond to? What is its relationship to the parameter b of thestraight line fit?

13. What angular variable does the parameter c of the parabolic fitcorrespond to?
