A beam of length 6m and of uniform rectangular section is simply supported at its ends. It carries a uniformly distributed load of 4kN/mm run over its entire length. Calculate the width and depth of the beam if the permissible stress is 6 N/mm2 and maximum deflection is not to exceed 10 mm. Take E for this beam to be 1.05 x 10 4 N/mm2
