Imagine you are a prosecutor and have been invited to give a speech to a class of law students about your role as the chief law enforcement officer of your county. Would you say that your role was to put as many criminals in jail or prison as possible, or to uphold justice even if you had to let a guilty crime suspect go few because of police misconduct? Why?
