One of the greatest opportunities with this kind of environment is that organizations can tap into individual skill sets and use those in projects that require diverse kinds of knowledge. The overall diversity of an organization can be tapped by using all of the skill resources within the staff.
However, that requires a lot of coordination, including an inventory of skills within the organization and continual development of individual's skills.
So, as an HR manager how might you manage this kind of work environment? How would you keep track of individuals? How might we engage continual development programs?
