My experimental mass of Kool-Aid is 0.3110 g in 100 mL.
Kool-aid contains Tartrazine dye and another unkown dye content.
The concentration of tartrazine stock i use is 1.831 x 10^-4 M.
By plotting a graph which Absorbance( wavelength is 425 nm) against Concentration of Tartrazine.
I use 0.00, 2.00, 4.00, 6.00, 8.00 volume of Tartrazine stock and diluted into 50 mL.
The abosrbance of Kool-Aid at 425 nm is 0.556 .
I get an equation y=27253x-0.0048
How to calculate the mass% of tartrazine dye in the Kool-Aid ?
The given Tartrazine MM= 534.3 g/mole
