I am busy preparing for my Organic Chemistry practicals and itcovers the general steps of recrystallization. I am stuck on justone question:

What would be wrong with simply evaporating the solvent oncecrystals had formed?

I would think it has something to do with it being a slow processand open to impurities but I can't be sure.
