In that course, their final lab was an acid-base titration with calcium hydroxide, and sulfuric acid.
What is the balanced chemical equation that is taking place in this titration?
What are the cations/anions and their charges?
This is what I think it is, but want to make sure.
1) Ca(OH)2(aq)+H2SO4(aq)âCaSO4(s)+2H2O(l)
2) Cations:Ca2+, H+
Anions: O2-, S2-
If cations and anions are wrong, please explain why they are and what are the correct cations and anions to the chemical equation
