Please help! I figured out two of them but I need help with the other two! Thanks!!
Note:
a) Please remember to specify stereochemistry in the name when appropriate.
b) When the hydroxyl group is a substituent attached directly to a ring carbon of a cycloalkane, that carbon is automatically numbered C-1 and you do not need to specify the locant of the hydroxyl group.
c) Please use the common name tert-butyl instead of 1,1-dimethylethyl when it is encountered below.
d) Answer key is coded with both the "old-fashioned" and "new-fangle" conventions.
A. Write the IUPAC substitutive name for b.
B. Write the IUPAC substitutive name for d.
