Given:
One creates a tris-Buffer solution of pH 8.0 is made up of tris-HClis 0.5 M, and 0.25M tris-base solution.
If one adds 10.0 mL of 1 N HCl to 2.000 L of this buffer, whatwould be the new pH.
I am confused on how to approach this problem. I understand that Imay need to incorporate an ICE table but I am really confused onhow to do this problem.
I need someone to give me a step-by-step approach using thesenumbers please so i can apply this concept to other hw problems!thanks!!
