I need help with Organic II on ether reactions. I supposedlymissed minor things on problems 1a, 1b, and 2 that I can't figureout. I also don't understand what the correction on problem 4 ismeant to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For each of these reactions provide the mechanism showing all intermediates, showing all electron pushing, and showing the appropriate mechanistic notation for each elementary step in each mechanism. Review the Elementary Mechanistic Steps and the Basic Mechanistic Principles on the last page before discussing the mechanism with your group. Use loose leaf, if needed. Provide the product formed in this one step reaction with correct stereochemistry. Draw the transition state using a chair from with proper three dimensional prospective. Build a model of the staring material to aid your discussion. Synthesize the following from starting materials of four or fewer carbons. Carbons in protecting groups do not count toward the carbon limit. Show transcribed image text
