A solution was known to contain only(Cu2+,Bi3+,Fe3+,Co2+,Ni2+)cations. When the solution was made acidic, treated withthioacetamide and heated, it yeilded a dark precipitate (A) and anovlie colored decantate (X). When precipate (A) was treated withHNO3 it completely dissolved to form colorless solution(B). Addition of NH3(aq) produced a white gelatinousprecipitate in a colorless solution. Decantate (X) was treated withNH4Cl, NH3(aq), thioacetamide and heated toproduce a dark precipitate (Y). The addititon of cold, dilute HClto precipitate (Y) resulted in a yellowish solution (Z) and a darkresidue. When solution (Z) was treated withK3Fe(CN)6, a dark blue suspension wasproduced. Indicate for each ion(Cu2+,Bi3+,Fe3+,Co2+,Ni2+)whether it was definitely present, definitely absent, or that youcannot decide from the information.
please explain thanks!!
