If there is a sufficient amount of oxygen gas, combustion process is complete, producing non-luminous flame. Insufficient amount of oxygen causes incomplete combustion and the flame is luminous. Barrel where the oxygen and gas fuel mix. Collar control the amount of air entering the barrel. Air inlet allows the air to enter the barrel. Gas spuds limits the supply of gas to the barrel. Gas inlet where the gas enters the burner. Luminous flame also known as safety flame. Produce when there is insufficient amount of air. Produce when there is sufficient amount of air.
