Assignment #3 take home final exam case. To start off, the hiring process is very important to the progress of the company. Hiring the right person for the job is not an easy task and although supervisors have knowledge about the work they do, they are not qualified enough to conduct the interviews. Hr was not seen as vital towards the success of any company say around. 20-30 years ago, but now it is the department which decides the future of the company. In the earlier days hr was necessary but not critical enough to be deemed as real work , but they served as an administrative function to the company. However, in the recent years, the economy began to change as there was a rise in knowledge workers who had specialized skills. The only problem was that these knowledge workers were harder to find during that time.
