Being in a leadership position is something i am often comfortable with and something that i have had the opportunity to do quite a few times. I had the chance to lead a team was at a conference for my employer. The conference focused on the importance of teamwork and unity. Upon entering the conference room, i could see several large mats laid throughout the entire room. The conference manager placed all of the attendees into groups, specifically with other people that did not know each other. I felt that this part was crucial to the exercise because it can often be more difficult to work with people that you do not know. The task that was assigned to us was simple, but it had a huge impact on everyone there. The activity that we had to complete was referred to as magic carpet.
