Tympanic membrane: (eardrum) vibrates at the same rate when struck by sound waves. Middle ear: hollow region containing the ossicles between the tympanic membrane and the coclea connects to three tiny bones that transforms waves into stronger waves to the oval window. Oval window is a membrane in the inner ear. Transmits waves through the viscous flis of the inner ear. Cocheal: snail-shaped structure of the innear ear containing the organ of corti.
