Fear of police somehow the police would come after me. Most people said they would file a complaint 80% of toronto residents. Almost all for police brutality physical. People have trust in accountability system trust that system would work. Asian human rights organization/community organization to help them find out how to file complaint. Do you think your complaint would be investigated fairly. Only 33% of black much more cynical about whether that complaint would be treated fairly. Majority says independent investigation regardless of race. A lot of support for independent civilian oversight that would be fair. Opposite for police should be internal investigation. Only other police should be able to judge what they do/how they act. Most people believe there is independent oversight misrepresentation. Civilians can file a complaint w/ this agency. Civilians can file a third party complaint. In most cases, the complaint is sent to the police service in question for investigation and adjudication.
