Document Summary

Citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons are known for their higher citric acids, which is an electrolyte that conducts electricity. On the other hand, non-citrus fruits such as apples and grapes are known to contain less amount of citric acids that produce electricity. To justify this, i have accumulated one of each fruits mentioned above in order to measure the electrical conductivity in watts, of these two types of fruit categories. The citrus content in fruits will determine the amount of electricity in watts that can be conducted by the type of fruit; thus, oranges and lemons will conduct a larger amount of electricity in watts. Because lemon and oranges are in the categories of citrus fruits, it must contain more citric acid than apple and grapes which do not fall under the citrus categories. Oranges in general will produce more electricity than apple and grapes, due to higher levels of naturally occurring citric acid.
