The deliverable is an updated system and the start of a new sdlc cycle to enhance the information system. The database development process is a subset of the sdlc that consists of three major stages: requirements analysis, component design, implementation. What is an er diagram (erd: the entity-relationship model is an abstract data model that describes the database schema (the organization of the data).
