They are the parties who hold a stake or interest in a particular project or industry. They can be classified into four (4) major categories: professional congress / event organizer (pco, community, service suppliers, government offices and regulatory bodies. The pco has equivalent friction with the community, regulatory bodies, and suppliers, so do the regulatory bodies with pco"s, suppliers, and the community. There is, however, minimal contact between the community and the suppliers within the context of events, as suppliers pass through pcos to reach the community. The event is likewise affected by external factors, such as nature, natural calamities, terrorism, global economic downturn/ upturn, global pandemic, and political events among others. They include exhibitors, visitors, sponsors, and other attendees. They bring in the revenues for any profit-oriented event and are considered as the "raison d"etre" or the main reason for organizing the event.
