The emphasis in this course is on problem solving, not on the presentation of theory. Topics include trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions, limits, continuity, derivatives, maxima and minima, integration, volumes of revolution, techniques of integration. Quantitative reasoning courses are designed to equip you with the skills that are necessary for understanding the types of quantitative arguments you will regularly encounter in your adult and professional life.
