The compass is divided into 360 degrees, with north 0, east 90, south 180 and west 270. The north direction is the reference point. South pole: prime meridian located in the middle part of the earth vertically measuring 0 degrees, antimeridian or international date line opposite to the prime meridian which measure 180 degrees. Map is a two-dimensional or three-dimensional representations of a particular area.
