Model = the representation of the essence of an architecture in the unambiguous form. A model is an abstract and unambiguous conception of something (in the real world) that focuses on specific aspects or elements and abstracts from other elements, based on the purpose for which the model is created. Models are typically represented using a formalized graphical or textual language. Modelling: the act of purposely abstracting a model from (what is conceived to be) a part of the universe. Domain = any subset of a conception (being a set of elements) of the universe that is conceived of as being some part" or aspect" of the universe. The togaf framework has four primary architecture domains: business, data, application, and technology. Other domains may also be considered (e. g. , security). View = expresses the architecture of the system of interest from the perspective of one or more stakeholders to address specific concerns, using the conventions established by its viewpoint.
