Shortness of breath, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, weight gain. Respiratory symptoms because can"t get back to the lungs. 1l water is about 1kg check breath sounds for crackles. Copd is bad in these patients because it affects her breathing. Htn --> causes hypertrophy - can lead to heart failure. Sleep apnea is a strain on the heart. Hctz- diuretic (look at fluids, watch bp, watch kidneys bun/ creatinine, watch potassium levels) Lisinopril ace inhibitor vasodilator, dilates indirectly works on angiotensin 1-2 renin system and works on aldosterone system to reduce sodium and water. Metroprolol beta blocker reduces htn, works on beta 1 heart cells. Some people may not take their meds if they cannot afford meds or are having financial issues. Respiratory rates may be super high, tachycardia because compensation, crackles may be found, o2 sat would be low, wheezing caused by inflammation of bronchiole constriction (exacerbation of copd), edema might be present (3+ pitting would be moderate)
