You are asked to rotate shapes so they make a perfect square. You could do one of the following: (a) naturally in the head. (i) This is a mental process in the mind. (b) naturally or on a computer screen. (i) This would make it not mental. (c) naturally or with a computer chip implanted in your brain. (i) Objections: the mind is conscious, reply: no neuron is conscious. There are things that are cognitive processes that are not conscious. Perception is not conscious, but you are still aware of them. In order to be a part of one"s mind, it does not have to be conscious: the mind is portable, reply: this objection would not apply if we put chips in the brain.
