Russian history is mostly about central russia (european side) Since the tsar and the government of russia has usually been focused in the. European area, they have had more authority to record their version of history. Challenges in borderlines of russia contributed to revolution against russian empire. There were small revolutions in southern russia. Many of these revolutions led by bolsheviks and white army. Russia was facing many defeats against german empire. The state prioritized food for soldiers instead of urban areas which contributed to the revolutionary sentiments. Empire developed without providing room for individual identity development. Similarly, local community identity was also not given space.
