If you had an internship in college that allows you to apply what you have learned, or is active in a group org chances of you being engaged at work outside university is higher. Finding a mentor and someone who makes you excited about learning is also key. 18 percent of labor jobs require a bachelor"s degree. A career is a utilitarian fit (outdated idea) Computers are able to use the human intelligence of world wide web. The idea of big data is something algorisms are able to take advantage of. For most students majors don"t correlate with jobs.
