To rebel is justified & revolution is violence -- mao zedong. Mao wants to regain control and restore capitalism in china. Cultural revolution: launched in 1966 to remove all the authorities walking on the capitalist road. May 16 announcement marked the official beginning of the revolution. Mao was praised as a great mentor, great leader, great commander, & great helmsman. Nobody dared to oppose against mao, even by accident.
