Contemplation may include process of continued consciousness raising and environmental reevaluation. Preparation may include stimulus control, self-liberation, counter conditions. Action may include stimulus control and contingency management. A method for weighing pros and cons of changing, advantages with barriers: clients start to recognize those barriers, work through, freedom around decisions. Goals should be measurable, achievable: small steps, positive cycling.
