Slide 1: are we still getting married: we still are but the numbers are going down. Steady linear increase that people over 25 are waiting to get married. They have the chance who could get married but they are waiting longer to get married. Significant chances in how we view the importance of getting married: people are now thinking that they are just as well off if they don"t get married and prioritize other things. (50%) There is stigma for people who are choosing not to get married or not to have children. Especially towards women who do not want children. They think this is odd when people choose otherwise. Increased number in people who have never been married. In the past, everybody at some point got married: 5 times as many never married 45-54 y/o in 2030 than we say in 1960.
