Certification - standards are developed and administered by professional organizations (asha) or state agencies: national standards. American academy of audiology: american board of audiology (aba) certification. Determining culturally if we are being attentively to the care we are giving. Have to make sure all of the patients best needs are always accounted for. Have to make sure personal scope is understood and doesn"t i(cid:374)terfere (cid:449)ith the patie(cid:374)t. Individuals shall use every resource, including referral when appropriate, to ensure that high-quality service is provided. Individuals shall not discriminate in the delivery of professional services or the conduct of research and scholarly activities on the basis of race or ethnicity, gender, gender identity/gender expression, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.
