Secrete a mucoid substance that lubricates the vagina. Short, elongated organ composed of erectile tissue. Located just behind the upper junction of the labia minora. Not a true part of the female reproductive system. Located in the lower portion of the vestibule, below the urinary meatus. The area between the vaginal ori ce and anus. Consists of muscular and brous tissue and serves as support of the pelvic structures.
