Long term mating strategy: if men are going to monopolize whole life, will prefer to start with women in late teens. Short term mating strategy: should look for maximum fertility, will prefer women in early 20s (this is peak fertility for women) Men: roughly prefer the youngest women they can plausibly extract as mates (long term) Women generally prefer men who are within 10 years older than them constant throughout lifetime. Women psychology, because of male preferences, will make them try and communicate younger age. Perceived age, not actual age, is most important in these attractiveness judgments. Women with more feminine facial features are judged to be more attractive correlated with higher estrogen levels. Correlation between estrogen and attractiveness gone with makeup (kind of like deceiving male aesthetic system) Waist-hip ratio (whr) low more attractive, correlated with estrogen levels and whether they"ve gone through puberty and pregnancy (when you are pregnant, obviously this ratio is different)
