HIST 011 Lecture 1: HISTORY 11 Protocol for Journal Entries
Document Summary
At the beginning of a unit, students should take 5 minutes to view an image, a set of images, or a short document, and to record their impressions in the online journal entry a created for that unit. These iniial journal entries should be spontaneous, informal, and brief about a paragraph at most. During the irst week of semester, we will pracice this exercise by wriing the entry for unit 1 in class. Students should pracice posing the entry in the appropriate place on canvas ater class. Posing instrucions can be found below and on the site under the tab labeled journal exercise. from unit 2 unil the end of the course, students will write and post these iniial entries on sunday evening before monday"s lecture. Spelling and grammar will not be held against you but please try to be as clear as possible in recording your iniial impressions of the image or document.
